How long does it take for Google to approve an Adsense account?
I applied for a Google Adsense account 10 days ago.
"Dear bro, please be patient, Adsense team may take even a month to review an application. (mine took more than a month!) Remember, please do not try repeatedly to sign in with a pending account for this may lead to another serious problem! Therefore, you have to wait until you recieve a mail from Adsense team! Best Wishes!"

Thanks a lot for your answer. You put my mind at ease; at least there's still hope :-)
Maybe you can answer another question. I accidentally "erased" my first hub by clicking on a wrong button, and I haven't got the original word document anymore. Did I actually erase it, you think - or is there a way to get it back?
I takes more than 6 months to get approval I you are from India or China.
In all other countries you get approved before that if you have good contents.
Its not that difficult, you can join through www.docstoc.com.It has a built in feature called as doccash and you and join in adsense through that and approval is also within 24 hrs,you should upload atleast one document(ppt,pdf,..) and that should not violate copyright policy and finally easy approval to adsense..For more details view my hub:http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-get-quick-approval-in-adsense
it took me 2 months maximum.
you will receive a letter to confirm your pin within 3 to 4 weeks or more depending on your location
then setting up your Electronic funds transfer could take up to 2 weeks,
so 2 months more or less
to setup your affiliate settings on hubpages:

It took me one night here in the U.S.
I loved when I got the email saying I have been approved.
If you are from India, it can take more than six months. Why waste all the time till then, write articles and earn money while waiting for adsense account approval here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Adsense-Account … ey-But-How
I don't know actually, I'm working on my Adsense approval as well, but they said my content doesn't meet their criteria, well I shouldnt ask another question here, anyway, I'm still working on it.

I joined hub pages recently and have only a few articles online. So if I am to apply for a google adsense account what would be a safe number of articles to have before applying? And is the amount of time the articles are published also a factor?
