Can anyone please advise me where I can go and download a good wordpress template? Help!
Whatever you do, make sure you or someone else looks through the actual code of the template to ensure that there are no "surprises." I have come across a number of templates that insert extra links to their sites or do other spammy things.
For example, one time I found a really cool looking template where the author had added a link to his blog into every post. So, every time you created a post with this template, instead of linking to your own site, you were linking to his.

I used it for some time in the past until joined Hubpages. Currently thinking of adding WP blog to my website.

I want to set up a couple websites, and am wondering the best and easiest way to set them up would be- I've got one that I set up through Yahoo, but I haven't really done anything with it.Any suggestions from my fellow hubbers?Thanks!

I am not too keen on Wordpress. It looks pretty and clen but the advertising options are limited. I use blogger because it's easier to use and gives me freedom with Adsense, but I really hate the limited templates. I am thinking of going domain and website for my recipes. What are your thoughts?...

OK, so I am going to stay here on HP for the foreseeable future. But, I can see that I have "creative" works, and certain other articles that I will be moving now that HP has placed the big DOLLAR sign in front of their logo. And, I am not complaining, it's just that I still want to keep...

I've now figured out the difference. Wordpress.com is for just writing blogs & from what I've figured out you can't use adsense or Amazon, etc. If I'm wrong, please correct me, and I need clear cut directions for adding their codes, I am not finding anyplace to add the codes. ...

http://xhubpages.wordpress.com/ with a user name of rayskd2000 is stealing content from hubpages and linking back to the original articles with their own signup token in the link.I guess if people sign up after coming from that site the person will make money from additional ad views...
