The photo capsule in this new look is really awesome.. i liked it so much..
new features like slideshow and thumnail view of pics uploaded are really superb..thanx to paul and jay for coming with such an innovative idea..
but the only problem is uploading from pc is taking a bit longer time than the previous version of hubpages...
Actually, it was user suggestions and Tom that did the work on this one. I really like the batch upload. The speed of the uploads is determined by your connection speed to the internet and the total size of images you're uploading. Meaning large photos take more time.
I've tested the performance this morning and it is performing as it should. To take less time, try resizing the images before you upload them. Most photo editing packages have a save for web function that reduces the file size.
Where might I find the photo capsule that allows a slide show. I have tried using Safari and Firefox as browsers with my Mac, but a new photo capsule does not seem to exist. Where is it hidden?
When you put the photo capsule in edit mode there's a tab called "display settings". Select "slideshow" and you are on your way.

I know traffic is a problem everywhere it seems; I'm not talking about low traffic, here. We all need to be aware of the HP's photo capsule may be affecting our bounce rates. There is a real problem if you use the photo capsule for anything-- even the intro photo. I'm NOT referring to the images...
