hub? There are diverse approaches adopted by the domain owners,some use scores others bring forward select authors on the front page.Some do both. Do you think these are useul to viewers/readers in making a choice?
Not too sure in terms of statistics. But personally I look for articles relevant and useful to me, then whether it looks interesting and easy to read.
I agree, it needs to be a topic that you have at least some interest in, otherwise they won't bother looking any further. Once the title appears you need to make sure that the contents of the hub draw the person in and make them want to read more.
