What exactly are HubPage trackers for?
Hi, despite reading informative HP articles, still confused about tracking code. If I post links to my articles in Twitter without the code - what is the effect? And with the code? When should I use the code and what for?
If you post articles without the tracking code to twitter, nothing happens. So it is not necessary as people will be able to see your page.
However, if you have a tracking code and someone signs up to hubpages, you get a referral and also, with a tracking code, you can keep track of where your traffic is coming from.
You should try to use the code all the time if you care about referrals and also, if you want to track where the traffic is coming from.
You can add a maximum of 20 different tracking codes.

Like referrals.1. Why insert an _referralcode into the URL. Couldn't you come up with a dynamic insertion solution? If an insertion was required, what's wrong with appending it at the end of the URL as in ?referrer=xyz? or would that make it too easy for hubbers?2. Why do pages like the Referrals...
