I have some hubs that were named poorly. Is there anyway to change their name?
I have one with a glaring spelling error, and some of my earliest names could be better at directing traffic.
you can change the name but not the url go to edit screen and change the name in the title at the top of the screen, good luck .....jimmy
The URL once given remains the same and all search engine activity will be based on that, so changing will not change the listing of your hub and the same key words in the original title will be used for scrolling. You can change it in the text module but that does not give the benefit you are looking for, if I understood you properly.
If you are not happy with the key words in title and the listings
you could delete the original, keep the content, and publish with a new title. That can solve your problem I think.

What do you do when you see a poorly written or misspelled title on a hub? Some times people make mistakes on the titles of their hubs. This means less people will probably read them. Do you tell the author or ignore the hub?

Do you think Hubpages should take a harder stance to poorly written hubs?I hop hubs when I can, and find so many that are of poor quality. They have little to no content, or just one long text block. Don't get me started about the spelling or grammar.Should HP take more of a harder...

Do you ever go back and look at an old, poorly performing hub and think, what was I on?!I just had a look at one of my worst hubs, it was also one of my first I might add The keywords were kinda irrelevant and the layout was very off-putting! An amazon ad was dominating the whole thing cause I had...

Does anyone from HubPages do any editing for these articles? I hop a few here and there to findmany, many, MANY poorly written, poorly spelled and unedited pieces that are hard to read, so I just have to ask the question; what does HubPages do, if anything, to ensure quality? What are writers doing...

Do you think hubbers should be more involved with removing poorly written hubs?I previously asked a question if Hubpages should do more about poorly written hubs. Most hubbers stated HP should. Should hubbers themselves be more involved with that? We may flag bad hubs, but we...
