When books/products are for sale at the bottom of an article, is writer selling products?
If you're an amazon.com or ebay affiliate you can add product capsules. If someone follows the link and buys the item you will get paid a commission of the sale. (**Note: Sometimes it depends on when the customer buys. For example for Amazon.com the customer must make the purchase right away.) Read the FAQs and help section of HubPages.
