Is it alright to create a hub with an outside link for people with home business?
Is it acceptable for people who sell things like Avon or similar home business "independant" distributors - to make a hub about new products or what have you with a link directing you to their sales page on another site?
(I don't sell Avon - it is just an example)
I believe HubPages say it's ok to have up two external self serving links on a hub. It's best if you have a relevant hub, for example if it linked to an avon affiliate, maybe a hub on skin moisturizers.
You can have links to your own sites/estores/affiliate offers, as long as you follow a few rules as far as how it's done. Basically, the hub must have original content (ie, text unique to HubPages and not duplicated anywhere else on the web), and you can have no more than 2 links to the same domain per hub. See http://hubpages.com/hub/Overly-Promotional for more info.
