One blog...with almost no content. Working on the website scenario...but this will pretty much be a mirror image / replacement to the blog.

It is a tough pill to swallow in terms of providing relevant content in each format without just copy and pasting from one to the other while also abstaining from duplicating other work I have done.

**Edit - by the way my statement in no way is meant to criticize anybody else or their websites....there was no reference to anyone involved in this site or elsewhere for that matter. I am also not saying my rational is correct or incorrect...just my personal preference in presenting my work.

3 blogs and building a new website. The blogs have quite a bit of content, but they haven't been updated in a while.

Its always good to have your own website rather than blogs. Its nice you are creating one.

I had a business website but recently closed it because when I do work for people it isn't through that that they've found me; and I didn't like the way GoDaddy charges you for your domain name what other companies charge for the domain; and then says they give you the site "free" (which means they put their own ads on it).  I'll do another one, but next time I'll know better what to look for.

I have, I think, 14 blogs in various stages of neglect; and a Helium "Zone" that is grossly neglected.  Originally, I wanted to separate a lot of my writing into categories and have blogs for each one; but once I had the fun of creating the "mood" and "environment" for each blog I realized I'm not really the blogging type.  I've been thinking about taking them all offline, but a lot of work went into creating them; and they aren't hurting anybody sitting there.  I've also been thinking about trimming out a lot of the Hubs I wrote in response to requests, before I really knew what Hubs are supposed to be.

I think, when it comes to blogs, you're either the type who reads and writes blogs or you're not.  I used to fuss with what I put on my blogs.  Now I'm lazy.  I just send my Hub links to whichever blog they seem right for, which doesn't make for a good blog.

I also shut my first site down back in 2007... First website is like a learning thing and most people have to take it offline.

BTW after shutting down 4 of my websites, I am left with 5 websites now. Also have a couple of blogs.
