Why do people use the HP answers section like a homework help hotline?
Because nobody wants to help them on yahoo answers? Idk, haha
Ha Ha! That's a good one. I like that: 'a homework help hotline.' I think that's exactly right. I had never thought to articulate it that way before, but that yet another motivation guiding questioners here on HubPages Q & A besides the hunger for accolades.
I guess they think that Hubbers are smart, which is totally irronyous... get it? Aw, never mind...
Yes, I think it is sometimes for the interaction and to get people viewing their writing.
A little of that is OK, but I recently saw one that was posting a bunch of trivial-pursuit type of questions that they already knew the answers to.

Why do some people use the HubPages Q&A section for doing research?Why do some people prefer to ask questions in Q&A that can easily be answered by doing research on Google?

Why do people manage to ask a HubPages question but cannot find the help section?This is not a complaint but a real question: some questions here are easily answered by clicking help at the top-right. What makes some of us go for the long way of asking, waiting and hopefully getting a right answer?

Why is there a forum section on hubpages?My experience says, the question and answers is almost the same as the forums. People ask questions and put it in a category. And the same happens in the Q&A section. So what is the need of the forums?And how do you use it differently?
