Can you please give me advice on composing the best writing sample to become a freelance writer?
I am very anxious to become an online freelance writer. I have read, and re-read, your hub pages on the topic (thank you), but still would enormously appreciate some direction on submitting the best writing sample.
Depends on what you're writing about to be honest. Something that shows that it is well researched and has an argument is always a good start.
What kind of writing will you be providing?
If you want to have a great online sample, it should be a mid-length, SEO, well-edited sample. Create an article that is keyword focused and about 400 words long. Keep every part of the article focused on the topic and cut out any fluff or asides to keep the article packed with information as well as succinct. I would prepare at least two such articles on different topics. Most of the content sites that I've worked with have required two writing samples. Once you have written the samples, edit them well, leaving no typos and making sure that they flow well. Good luck!

I would like to apply for brighthub.com today or very soon. However, I heard you need a writing sample. Can I show them one of my hubs that I wrote on hubpages and perhaps my profile itself?

I'd be very grateful if anyone could...
