My traffic is rising on one of my articles, what should I do?
When I used to get a big jump in traffic I would go through the comments and try to answer as many as I can. Then I would look at my article and make sure everything looks good and see if I can make it any better. Also, I would make sure your ads are all set up and good to go to help make more revenue. Also, use the title tuner to make sure its optimal.
Find out where your traffic is coming from, look for search trends related to your topic and promote it slightly further and if you know that that topic is gaining in traffic you can write more on them topics and interlink them together.
Articles get better with age as do us humans.

Some articles you can add to (or update?) every week, but should you? Does anyone know if how often you add to an article changes (positively or negatively) your views, earning potential, etc.

I've seen people saying that they are writing longer hubs and getting more traffic. I've always heard at least 300 words up to 800 or so. Have you found an optimal number to shoot for?

An editor reviewed this particular hub and decided that due to the fact that it has been extensively covered they could not get it on Toughnickel. To my surprise I found it doing well on the main site - HubPages.
