ok - actually it is two
1. does your url trackers get embedded in the link before it gets "shrunk"
2. do you think it makes more sense to use bit.ly so you can see tracking data

I personally use bit.ly (My own account) instead of using hubpages Bit.ly simply because I can then see my own data. I have not seen any of the data from simply tweeting it from your hub directly unless there is a way to connect your Bit.ly to hubpages yourself in which case I have no idea how to yet.

I know it is easy to do it through hp
but I like the control of bit.ly and knowing the url tracker is there
I use Cli.gs, they have really nice analytics. I'm not sure whether the default URL shortener includes the tracking URL or not.

Like referrals.1. Why insert an _referralcode into the URL. Couldn't you come up with a dynamic insertion solution? If an insertion was required, what's wrong with appending it at the end of the URL as in ?referrer=xyz? or would that make it too easy for hubbers?2. Why do pages like the Referrals...
