What's the literary demographic on Hubpages?
I know there are spammers out there, but for the real writers...Is this site full of full-time, part-time, or aspiring writers or are there people on here just having fun or passing the time?
I am retired and spend a couple of hours on hubpages nearly every day. I've published 16 hubs since I joined, which is about 3 months ago.
I always have something to say, but I have no wish to submit sloppy inferior work to be read by discerning hubbers simply to see my name on the screen. I make a sincere effort to put forth poems, articles and essays I can feel will represent me well today, tomorrow and beyond.
I enjoy reading other's works and nearly always leave a comment. I appreciate the comments that readers leave for me as well.
The people I interact with in the hubpages community are a very large part of the pleasure of participating.

I'm not sure if I should go on with writing here. I think I would still keep my account because I like the HubPages...

I changed my blogger account to custom URL, and now thinking of applying to upgrade from hosted account to full Adsense account I can use on other custom websites. My worry is with hubpages, if approved, will this affect ads appearance and Adsense earnings on hubpages? What changed should I make...

What's up with this site? I am new and use it to publish articles for clients to read, to force myself to write more often and to increase my writing skills. Getting feedback now and again is great but I don't use it as a barometer to write more about,'oh, let me think, what will it be today'?I...
