Tags are words that are used by search engines to determine the relevancy of your page content; they are keywords that are arranged as a lookup table. Interestingly you can click on a tag and see which other hubs are using the same word and this technique can be used to make an RSS feed by putting a unique tag on a range of hubs to inter-connect them. Therefore tags are keywords that can be used as a tool to publicise you hub.
