I have noticed some Hubs have an RSS feed link to other Hubs by the same author. Is there info anywhere on how to link Hubs this way? I have several that would benefit from this and would like to give it a shot.
Thanks so much
Red
This is the url for your 'latest hubs' page:
http://hubpages.com/author/RedElf/latest
RSS feed url for the same would be:
http://hubpages.com/author/RedElf/latest?rss
('latest' can be replaced by 'hot' or 'best' if and when needed)
You can link to related hubs by using a tag
http://hubpages.com/author/Name/tag/hot?rss
where Name is your profile name and "tag" is the tag name you want to link to.
You can replace "hot" with
"latest" or "best"
Thanks so much both of you! That is just the info I need. Is it also possible to use the name of a group of hubs for an RSS feed or only the tags "latest, hot, best"?
Thanks in advance
Red
The easiest way to link to a group of hubs is to tag them all with the same tag and then use the link above with that tag.
Thanks for asking this question, redelf... I was a bit confused, too.
For others who've already tried this, has adding these feeds helped much with traffic?
Thanks again, all!
...but this will only work if the hubs actually appear on the hot, latest, best pages. Either that or I am missing something (something simple, probably, LOL).
I have come up with the workaround, though, using what Hub Pages has already so thoughtfully provided. I assign each of the articles to the same, specially named group which then displays in the capsule at the bottom of the Hub just above the comments.
Simple - makes the RSS feed redundant for this use, as well.

I really can't point any of you to the many discussions there were about whether RSS feeds that display our own Hubs in a specific Hub of ours are a violation of the HP rules or not.I read info that the "best", "latest", and "hot" categories were not appropriate to add...

I'm trying to understand RSS feeds. I think the capsule is a reader that aggreates feeds from other websites, but I'm not sure

For some reason I can't figure out how to get an rss feed for certain keywords from my hubs. I know it is most likely a simple thing I am missing, but would appreciate a little advice please.

A while back someone posted another method of using tags to make RSS feeds, and today I tried it out on 3 different hubs. The format used was: ht tp://hubpages.com/author/authors name/tag/latest?rssand it gives a feed with that tag but only from that author. The feature works fine on all three...
