What is the best advice you have learnt from hubpages either the forums or other hubs?
I have learnt a lot about how to use hubpages , however enjoyed learning about new places and other subjects while hub hopping , getting on new peoples sites!
What have you enjoyed learning about while here ?!
I've really enjoyed learning about how this whole world wide web thing works; and learning to be successful here. . . .is what it takes to be successful anywhere on the web. Of course the technology is always changing, but I've learned some foundational things that, maybe, won't change.
Write, write, write and write and again write.again again write This is what i learned from hubpages
There is a wealth of information offered for new hubbers such as me. I have found it a little overwhelming and have decided to learn in steps. I started with learning how to arrange your hub, then on the Amazon and Google. I am not sure what I will conquer next, most likely how to link.
A combination of both is a good way to find great information. I like the comment about hub hopping. I should do that more often.
Patience is key. Every time I feel like I'm not doing well I comment on the forums and come to find that my results are completely normal and on pace for great things.
Fingers crossed!
publish hubs for pleasure and not for profit. It will help you stay interested and creative.
I have learned that creating a hub is not just about writing. There are other steps that take as long, if not more - editing for corrections, including spelling, grammar, and reading for clarity. Making sure the formatting is pleasant to look at. Adding backlinks, and making sure they open in a new window. Adding the Amazon ads.
i think i have learned many things... creating a hub is not like the writing your views only.. but it is the way to expand your knowledge.. with the help of these hubs i learned editing, arranging hubs etc..

Do you feel rewarded (financially or mentally/emotionally) since you started HP?I've been stressing out about getting my hubs to go through. I would really like to know if you think there's a better future for me out there once I get used to the community and the quality checks....

It looks like a fourth of my feed lately is comprised of new people wanting the rest of us to tell them how to write. All day I get request after request for help on passing the Quality Assessment. I mean Really? Many of your requests are just one step above being a jumble of mis-spelled words...

Recently I'm noticing new members who have no hubs, no activity where they read or comment on hubs, and only join to participate in self interest and/or bleeding heart questions in various forums. Sort of using HP as a chatroom. Before anyone attacks me for this, please know I enjoy the discussion...

This one might need a sticky when I'm done, as I think what I'm about to share could help many hubbers - new and old alike ...First off ... Where's all of the money? I hear this time and time again how some hubber wrote excellent articles and made nothing ... zilch ... nada. Hubpages is a ripoff,...

I'm curious what the best advice you would give someone new to Hubpages. I've read lots of advice in the hubs, but please share what you think is important.
