Write quality hubs. Improve them occasionally. Link them from relative sources with as high page rank as possible. Do not spam.

Write original Hubs, minimum 300 words with good images.

Read and understand the rules of hubpages.

Read hubs pertaining to your topics of interest and understand how they are written.

Read the hubs pertaining to the new hubbers, and then start writing quality hubs as best as you can.

Check the forum frequently and try to understand what is going on there.

Be yourself and get involved, it's a nice website.                               .

Its been close to 2 months now, the only advice I could suggest is that try to create hubs on a specific topic (50 hubs/topic) and then add a link summarizing all the hubs to your profile page.

I am trying to do the same, strategy suggested by Paul Edmondson (Co-Founder and CEO of Hubpages).

Click on help and read the instructions.  Much of what you need to know is there.  Find a niche subject that you enjoy and write about it and have fun.

Write from your heart about subjects you are knowledgable about and have a passion for. Try to get as many followers or fans as possible.

Write a lot, improve your old hubs, write about things that you know; and you'll realize that you know about all kinds of things that will make wonderful hubs.  Don't get impatient.  Stay at it, nothing worth doing is easy, and you really can make money doing this.

If you want me to direct you to people who are making lots of money at this so that you can look and see how they are doing it, ask me.

Start off slow and do not try to learn everything at once.  There is so much information to learn that it can be a bit overwhelming at first.
