Is there a way to set up a section on the site for registered users and the HubTeam to send messages to other hubbers. But, still give the email option to non-registered people to ask questions.
I've been thinking about it for a little while now.
I think it would help with the team sending out emails such as newsletters and such, as I'm still not recieving them.
Maybe it's unnecessary, but just figure I'd try...
EDIT- And maybe a thing that lets you know when a comment has been left on one of your hubs. When your browsing HubPages, participating in the forum, writting a Hub, etc, you have to click the home button to see if comments have been left during the prolonged period. I'd like to be notified when a comment has been posted while I'm browsing the site because many times I get people with pet concerns and questions they want answered.
I get a lot of questions asked in the comment boxes. I try to answer them there. As far as I can tell, part of the hubscore is determined by the amount of comments, so I like that.
And not to put too fine a point on it, I get enough emails already. I rather like how few we get from hubpages.
I don't mean like comments that can be left on the hubs, but like questions or such. I, too, enjoy comments, answering them and such. But, I'm speaking more in terms of if someone has something more personal, based on the hub that they'd rather email. I don't know.. It's just a thought.
Basically, a private message...
I find I have too much in my email inbox, which is why I liked the idea of messages through the website, like the newsletters, any site updates, etc.
Well, I guess you could add a mailto: link on the hub?
That way it would have nothing to do with hubpages and you could add them only to the hubs you wanted.

So, I've always thought it was the polite thing to do to reply to commenters, and thank them for their time and input, and I've made an effort to do so consistently. However, I'm wondering if this is now being discouraged by HP, as there is no available comment box for replies on hubs that have been...

I was quite stunned a week or more ago when someone made a statement on one of my hubs that she had commented twice and I had snubbed her by not replying. Her comment had been particularly flattering, and probably because I've spent a lifetime being flattered by others only to find that they wanted...

Good morning,I am rather new to HubPages, and am so far enjoying sharing my articles with everyone. I've received a couple of "fan mail" messages, and a few comments on some Hubs, which has been marvellous. I don't wish to appear aloof or ungrateful, and wondered if there are any guides...

I am not receiving notifications when someone comments on my Hubs on WanderWisdom until after I discover them by accident and respond. Is anyone else having that problem?

There seem to be many hubbers who have no published hubs and are still allowed to comment on other people's writing. While there are some hubbers who are simply new and asking questions before diving in, it seems that some people open accounts purely for the purposes of making comments, often nasty...

I would like to publicly point out that at every recent change in Hubpages policies I have posted comments on the blog (when a blog post coincides with the policy/feature change), often I am the first or one of the first to comment. Often my comments include specific questions that could be...
