I have tried t put at least four different utube videos onto my hubs today and the embed html of...
the video is not being recoqnised by hub pages - has somebody changed a rule here that I am unaware of?? please advise....cheers
I've done only 1 video on 1 hub so far. The way I did it was to use the video capsule and paste in the link from YouTube. Have you tried that method yet?
(I know that when I've tried to do a couple of things in html, it tells me it's not allowed because only certain commands are allowed.)
I have noticed recently that the embed code from Utube just doesn't work when adding a new video on hubpages but old ones continue to work ok. I assume that the code to extract the video content must have changed.
The solution for me was to simply take the webpage address from utube and enter that instead of the embed code. It woks just fine then.

How Many "Simultaneously" Hubs do You Have?I just notice the "Simultaneously" accolade feature on my profile, which means - Happening, existing, or done at the same time. I have 50 simultaneously featured hubs at the moment. How many do you have?

I am absolutely distraught. Some of my best hubs contain youtube videos. I have found that anyone logged into hubpages can see my videos without any problem. Today my Dad happened to be looking at my hubs and said "there are no videos here". Stunned, I went onto hubpages and logged out of...

I've been wanting to make my own video and I just discovered that I have the software already on my computer to do this. I converted four short videos into one and added captions and credits. It really is fun. Have you tried this? Then I uploaded the video to YouTube and used it in a hub. The only...

To meet the 'quality' standard to avoid hubs getting sleepy ZZZd just follow these rules:=> A minimum of 1500 words of truly informative, well-written, useful content => A minimum of 5 relevant, high-resolution, properly-attributed photos (ideally your own) => 2 videos (ideally your own)...
