Someone scanned a book, uploaded it to rapidshare and then posted the link in the forum on my website.
It's a very useful and relevant link, but he apparently committed copyright violation. Should I delete the link, do I get burned if I leave it on?
it doesnt help u, link competition w/ your revenue creating links
Personally, I would take it down purely because as you said it is in copyright violation. Maybe replace it to a link for the legitimate copy of the book, like a partial view in Google Books?
Thanks. I think I'll take it down after a few days. The reason is that the book is very hard to find in shops. People were complaining that they can't find it and this user decided to scan and share it.
That's no reason to leave the link there for even 5 minutes after you found this out.

I found someone using DZBlog who has copied my hub. However the site is in French and the site seems to be based in Algeria or cater to Algerians? They copied my article in English, altered it slightly and replaced some words with links to Nike shoes and other ads. I don't see a report violation or...

I have noticed that some of my hubs are copied and pasted onto other sites within days of me publishing them, which suggests to me that some of the thieves may be among my followers here on hp.Well, I now have a new approach to dealing with those who steal my work. In addition to filing DMCAs etc,...
