Where do you find "hubpages competitions" that I have been reading about?
What do you mean, exactly???? A website that is similar to HP??
Info Barrel is okay, it pays a higher percentage of adsense; but it's really annoying at first. . . .as they have to approve your post before they are published.
I've never published a "Squido Lens," but Squido is another site like Hubpages that runs adsense ads. I have an account there, but . . . . .(sadly) couldn't figure out the interface in ten minutes, and ADHD boy gave up.
thanks for the response Wesman, sorry I meant writing competitions within this site, I have read on other hubs that it is a good idea to participate in hubpage competitions, but cannot seem to find any?!
You just missed the "Money Tree Contest". It was held the whole month of January 2011 and there were lots of winners, daily winners of $50 and the big winner or winners of $500. I didn't participate because the topic is finance and I don't know much about finance. There is the weekly HubNugget contest for new hubbers who have been in Hubpages less then 60 days, but the HubNugget team chooses the nominees and no monetary gain, only recognition of your work as a new hubber, which I think is a great achievement. There are no other contest going on right now. Go to the Forums and you will learn about new contests whenever they come up. Welcome to Hubpages!

I've had a passion for writing ever since I can remember. I started with short stories as a child then locked onto poetry and from that I've never turned back, what about everyone else?
