What would you say is a good number of weekly or monthly page hits for a hub?

Some people seem to earn reasonable money from their hubs but it seems like they must have hundreds of hits a day or week but it would be interesting to know what people think is a good number.

The amount you earn depends on your niche as well, some of my celebrity hubs gets hundreds of visits per day but they only earn cents, on the other hand my hubs about business, Jewelry and Travel earn much more with less traffic

More is better. Don't settle for a few dozen fews per day but aim for hundreds or thousands of views per day. I'm nowhere near that yet but that should be your goal.

It depends -- how many convert? Contrary to popular opinion, more traffic is not better...more of the RIGHT traffic is better. If you get 50 overall hits a day with an 80% conversion rate, that's a heck of a lot more valuable to you than 500 hits with a 2% conversion rate. The goal isn't just to get people to look -- you get paid when people are actually interested, click on ads, buy through your links, etc. Figure out what your sales/ad revenue goal is, and then figure out how to reach the people that can truly benefit from the information in your hubs. The conversion rates will tell you what you need in terms of traffic.

I've been told that ten hits a day from Google is a sign of a good hub.  The idea and the way to make money is to have LOTS of hubs averaging ten hits a day from search engines.

It doesn't matter how much, like noted above, what is important is the conversion rates. You can have 1,000 impressions and make a few bucks, or you can make 100,000 impressions and make the same amount. But having good conversion rates is a really hard thing to achieve. So my guess is as long as the numbers are rising we are doing good, so if you start with 1,00 impressions work your way up to 2,00 and so on!

I suppose the answer is always "more." My highest traffic hub gets 10 to 20 hits per day. I'd be pretty happy if I could get my hubs to that level and get that traffic consistently.
