I am finally starting to see the traffic and some benefits of the advice I have been given along with some research. Thanks to everyone who has given me super advice on how to make my hubs stand out and draw traffic.
Congrats. Have had those days and it makes you feel good. Sometimes timing of an article can make a difference. I see that mostly with my football hubs.
Congrats ... but - I hate to be a bummer here -- but there seems to be a glitch today where everyone's traffic stats increased a great amount. This happens every few weeks or so.
Are you sure its not your ISP or bad comp maintenance bcuz I always hear about these glitches and never once have my stats been off kilter. I run cable , maybe dsl or dial up causes the glitches?
my stats are the same at about 10 hits perday..no spike there! I only have a handful of hubs ,maybe thats y I dont see these spikes when they happen
No, Naomi's right, we've had a few well-reported and documented glitches on HubPages. Perhaps it was before you arrived, but we've had several days where stats were off. They have had to change out some major hardware at HP headquarters.
Congrats! Where is your traffic coming from? I am asking because I just checked my other profile, and I have an almost unbelievable amount of views on several of my hubs... mostly from hubpages (that is the part that makes them most unbelievable).
I had almost double my usual, too-- maybe they are catching up.
Though my earnings were lower than usual.
Yeah, I am getting a ton of traffic on all my wine related hubs...like 10x normal...think maybe the counters are off again?
I am a bit scepitcial too, as my hubs seem to be up by about 500 views today, which is needless to say, quite a lot!
I've noticed the same thing. I've seen an unusually high spike tonight. Sounds like we might have a glitch, darn it.
I have five hubs showing lots of views tonight and they're a mixed bag. Some are all Google, some are all HubPages.

I noticed yesterday that one of my hubs about responsible use of water resources had its readership just explode! It had always been steadily getting about ten or so hits a day, which I thought was respectable if not exceptional. But yesterday it jumped to over a hundred hits! It's still up...

Yippee! I have finally after all this time hit over 10,000 hits on my hubs, I am thrilled! Happy Easter everyone.

Finally, and at last! You may remember that at the end of August I took an overnight 90% hit for articles that were doing really well prior to that day. At the time I had 147 hubs. As of today, I have whittled that number down to 78...all of which are in one single niche...and...

Realize it may be different for each person, but based on the average hubber, I'm wondering how many hits to, say, a fairly decent hub. 100 hits? 200 hits? Some folks may get 0 , others get 10. Yeah, yeah, I know. It's too general a question, but...

Hey Guys and Gals, Man, I have just about had it with the traffic issues here at the Hubpages. I have published over 100 hubs here in two years. I have won several awards, I have had over 10, 000 views, and I have a following of over 200 people. When this whole traffic loss debacle first occurred,...

Wondering where we stand with regard to a new accolade for having more than 5 EC hubs or even a way for people to see this special distinction publicly on our hubs. Right now, we are the only ones who can see it - on our account statistics. I'm tempted to opt out at this point. Is there anyone else...
