hi how do i get traffic to my hub can i put my hbpage url in forums
If you participate in the forums, people will check out your hubs. However, it's traffic outside of HubPages that you really need if you want to earn any money. Use keywords that will help the search engines find you, post your URL to your Facebook or Twitter, email the URL to friends, etc.
And no, you cannot post your URL in the forum, notice what is written on the left when you post:
"Do not start threads for the sole purpose of promotion or posting links. "
If you find a forum post and someone asks a question, you can post your hub URL in the thread if it's directly related to the question.
Completely agree with Uninvited Writer, I can only add that that you can use different social sites like digg, mixx or kirtsy. It will increase your traffic. Good luck!!

While I'm being a policeman, I can't help noticing that there's a lot of self-promotion that goes on in the forums. Especially the "other topics" forums, where quite often you'll find posts with not much more than the link to the person's Hub.Surely the forums are places to discuss...
