For a new hub I need to use clips of old photos, can I use the clips if I state the original source?
If the photos are yours, no problem. If not yours, you have to know if they are copyright protected. Some are not allowed to be used even if you indicate a source and you have to pay. In other instances indication of a source is enough. You have to check that. I use photos from sources that are free to use, but I always have to indicate the source. Hope that helped.
Part of this new hub involves the likes of Robert Johnson, only two photos available but one is perfect, his hand on the guitar fretboard. Most photos I need are available on Google images, as I can take clips from those photos. Sources that are free?
