If you mean create a backlink from another website to your Hub, yes, that is what people usually try to do to get external backlinks.
You can also "ping" your Hubs, which can get picked up by others, which can bring traffic and (hopefully) a backlink or two.
I have a couple Hubs mentioned on my profile page regarding the above two answers.
You can submit them to Kooday a new search engine , buy keywords that relate to your hubs and link them for more viewers, I earn $50- $100 every week from kooday have a hub on it.
yeah, try Facebook, digg, twitter, reddit just to name a few.
