It says I have six sign up who just joined me since 2 days and earnings estimate is $0.28: I don't understand what "estimate" really means.
Thanks Paul though I didn't understand everything but I will trust you overall that I should earn more
Let's check If I have understood.
Currently my url tracker shows this:
12 5 54 $0.55
It means I have 12 signups who COULD earn me roughly $0.55 per 1000 impressions ?
I've interpreted it as an estimate of what they SHOULD have earned you.
OK Can you confirm that it is for 1000 impressions ?
It's more likely estimating the cost per click and a click thru rate, not eCPM.
But anyway, I just ignore that whole column entirely.
What ? It's a bit frustrating to ignore : what does $0.80 mean in my last url trackers (for 17 referrals members now)
988 17 8 93 $0.80
It doesnt mean anything, I think they should delete that part of the stats. Its only confuses people.
It also counts the times I visit my hub as impressions also.
Dont get me wrong I love hub pages, but putting an algorithm that estimates earnings?
Sunseven said hers was pretty close, Over 1 million impressions and her adsense account made 50.00 I think he he

What?! Oh, dear.... hehe, not very encouraging. There must be hubbers who are doing well but are not saying anything, or else HubPages wouldn't be so popular and wouldn't earn a profit for the owners. There is hope!
I cant figure out much of this, the anlytics has me stumped...... I place the code where they said it never gets detected..so what does that mean. and just what is the urls upposed to look like, I have tried adding www. after the http:// and still nothing. what the heck am I doing wrong? if i try to go to my hub from IE it says it doesnt exist.!!
I have a total of of 1800 visitors and not one sign up on any of my trackers..what is up with that??? help
The tracker is for referrals it has nothing to do with the number of visitors.
For example I have created 3 trackers to track where the referrals come from. Only one works which gave me the 21 referrals:
3 trackers 1254 21 10 163 $1.17

I've had a few people sign up under my trackers when I send out emails of my hubs, but I was wondering what some of the rest of you have done as far as setting up a more unique way to have friends and family sign up here at hubpages? For some strange reason I don't think my profile link for sign...

Has anyone had great success with the URL Tracker and referrals? I just read what it was about and seems like a great way to provide incentive for other hubbers to promote other user's content. Does anyone use this strategy to make a lot of money?

Lately, it can be several hours (sometimes 24 or more hours) for my Hub stats to update but the estimates of my daily earnings are generated? How can the earnings be estimated if the stats are up to date? Two separate tracking issues?
