I see some blogs on here that are nothing but ads and containe 20 links to other commercial websites, but mine has one or two links and I get flagged - am I doing something wrong?
I checked out your hubs, and the flag is obviously for over promoting.
The school hub is good information, well laid out and easy on the eye, but totally ruined by the 49 ads for amazon books.
Don't know how you can think this is only 2 links.
To try and help, may I suggest you put the Amazon links to the right of all the text, stopping the ads when they reach the bottom of the text, and delete the rest.
I'm sure this will not be considered over promotion then.
Total lack of understanding what Hubpages means by overly promotional. You will benefit from reading the link above, too.
Actually, the "staying in school" hub wasn't flagged - you cannot read the flagged hubs because they were flagged - and all the amazon ads are at the bottom and apparently that is ok with the hubmasters....but take a look at someone's hub like "trentent" and you'll see nothing but ads and links to commercial sites - what's his secret?

Why am I suddenly being flagged as too promotional?Revising old Hubs and adding some new links following the Amazon prompt on the popup window. Not too many -- maybe a half dozen in a 1,500-word Hub. Now when I go to say I'm "done editing" I'm getting a warning that it contains too many...

I published two Hubs back in January. I never had any problem with them previously in all this time. Then all of a sudden I get two separate emails flagging my two Hubs as being Over-Promotional....How can that be? The few links I did have were pertinent to the individual article, and...

I am really ticked about this. I posted a hub about a revolutionary new site out there that will change how we social network and I linked to a page, not from that site but an info website of mine so people could get more info and I was flagged for being over promotional! This is news, not...
