What happened to the link descriptions?
It used to be when you added links to your hubs, they would have a link description that gave you insight on the link. It seemed those have disappeared for almost all links. Some still have them. Is there a way to turn these back on? How did they disappear?
I wish I knew the answer to this question. I find the new linking features annoying and time consuming.

You use to be able to highlight a word or two and get a drop down of related Hubs. That don't happen anymore for me. I might get one 'community' style link, but nothing like it use to be with 8 or 10 related...
