How Many Views do You Need for the View Duration to be Calculated?
None of my hubs have many views, but most of them have more than 150, and I cannot see a view duration rating. How many views or how long does it take to see this?
I think you're talking about the time the visitor stays on your hubs. You can see that in Google Analytics.
You clearly need to open an analytics account. I'm positive that Google counts every view - even if it is less than a second long.
Thank you, I will check out Google Analytics. As for the Hubpages view duration meter, I actually just checked on of my hubs today and saw that it was marked as 5 stars for view duration. What does each star indicate?

One of the things I try and improve is my average visit duration. I've moved it from about 35 seconds to close to a minute. What do you consider a good Average Visit Duration? Is it worth culling some hubs that seem to get a low AVD?

I have several hubs for which Google Analytics reports "Avg Time on Page" as 00:00:00. But in HP stats, those same articles show 5 stars for View Duration. The figures for page views seem to track between GA and HP.Anybody have an idea about the view duration discrepancy?

Hey fellow hubbers,I've been posting quite a few hubs recently and I've also been doing quite a lot of SEO for them however, there is some part of the puzzle that just isn't clicking for me. Most of the people that are coming to my hubs are bouncing, my bounce rate is 78%. Can you look at just 1...
