I keep getting messages on several of my articles about broken links. I go in and remove them, but in some articles, they immediately pop back up! What can I do? How does this affect my traffic??
What do you mean, "remove them"?
You need to edit your Hub, open the capsule where the broken link is, highlight the link and either break it (the little broken link icon) or correct it. Then save and "done editing".
Is that what you're doing?
Yep, that's what I'm doing. That has worked for most of the articles - but not for all.
That's mysterious. So it looks OK (i.e. it's no longer blue) when you save the text capsule? And you're remembering to click "Done Editing" when you're finished? (I know that sounds like a dumb question but I know I've done it in the past...).
The only thing I can suggest is to email the team at HubPages, it sounds like some kind of glitch.

I have a hub that is marked for a broken link. I double checked the link and it works just fine. Can a hub, be removed for having a broken link? Could my hub be potentially removed because it was mistakenly identified as a broken link?

The trouble with trying to write "timely" articles about things such as current news, is that links you provide to the source get broken! This just happened to me today--I had written an article about the meteor that exploded over Russia, complete with a link to a very interesting video...

If this is not the correct place to ask my questions, please let me know where to go on HubPages, or if I should send an email to the people running HubPages.A few months ago an expert hubber with lots of experience and success for a time offered free critiques of hubs in one of the forums. I asked...

I'm trying to write a hub, linking to a couple of my other hubs, but the links don't work, saying the page cannot be found and I'm getting warnings about broken links when I know the links aren't broken and that the hubs do exist. What is going on??? So many things seem to be faulty on HP these...

Ok, this keeps happening to me. Well, two things with broken links. Both are annoying.1) There is a broken link warning; I go to edit the hub and fix or delete said link, and the broken link warning does not go away. I then re-check the entire hub, to make sure there was not more...
