Should I add other sites when I bookmark my hubs in social bookmarking sites?
Is it ok if I put only my own hubs?
I'm told that StumbleUpon seriously dislikes it when you continually link to one domain, like Hubpages.
I use newsvine, and that site is a good traffic source sometimes - but it's the same way.
Just bookmark things that you see that you like, and not JUST your stuff - and you'll be okay.
Most sites will pick up on the fact that you are only sharing your material and in turn some will cancel your account or just not count your links at all.
Ways around that is start multiple accounts and use multiple proxies and just post a few of your own on each of the accounts and never use them again.
Or you can spend the time sharing 3-4 other links from varying sources per every 1 you share of your own. Aslo avoid just sharing links from any 1 source, in other words don't just share Hubpages links for your other links.
If you would like I could provide you with a URL list of all of my material with prewritten descriptions, category and keywords. Then you could just copy and paste
I think it's fine when you actually do stuff other than just submit your own material.
For example, I upload all my hubs on digg and reddit, but I also follow those two websites daily, reading interesting stories, updvoting/downvoting, and commenting. So I'm a member of the community rather than just spamming my work for more traffic.
Whether or not you actually want to be a part of the social bookmarking website community, you need to show that you're not just there to get traffic for your website(s).
Guy, thanks for your answer.. It's a little bit disappointing, but now I know the truth. BenjaminB, regarding your request, it is brilliant idea if you could do the same for me..

I was wondering how often a hub should be social bookmarked and if my internet history is deleted i do not know which hubs I bookmarked. I don't want to be considered a spammer. How many hubs do you guys bookmark at a given time and do you usually bookmark the low traffic or high or?

I was getting quite a bit of traffic from Stumbleupon, but the last while I notice it hasn't been accepting my submissions from Hubpages. They say that it's to prevent people from abusing the sytem and just promoting one site all the time. Does anybody know of a way around this?

How many people actually submit their links to social bookmarking and/or networking sites. If you do, do you actually see any results. So far I have gotten very little results from these sites. Any tips, suggestions, or ideas?

IzzyM and I have been chatting about backlinking, and disagreeing on what's the best way to go about it. She's been spending hours backlinking her Hubs on social bookmarking and backlinking sites, because she feels that's been recommended on the forums by Hub gurus. I'm not at all sure that's...

I am starting to learn how to social bookmark. I've been doing it on twitter, facebook, igoogle, digg, delicious, diigo, my blogs, pingomatic and a few other places. I have only been doing it on some of these sites for the last four or five days. It probably takes a while to see...
