Hub Pages Joy?
What would be the one thing that would make you happiest about writing on hub pages?
The one thing? I'm already thrilled about Hub Pages, I love being able to use their interface to:
Gather a captive and captivating audience.
Put across my ideas and gain immediate feedback from what I've written.
Improve my writing and presentation skills.
Read hundreds of interesting articles a week written by fellow Hub Page authors.
It's awesome that I make money from it, but let's face it, the other benefits are what make me want to be an active member of this community. The money is peanuts, until the payout hits ...
Well, I'd like my score to get up to 98, as it's been to 97. . .for about half a day once.
I'd like to have a featured article.
I'd like to make more money.
I like hubpages. I only think that I'm going to write more on Info Barrel for a bit to see if I can increase my adsense earnings there. . . .
I joined HP to earn that "passive income" I read about on the home page. Still trying to get past the $2.24 Google AdSense earnings that I've had for weeks (months?) and the less than $1 a month from HP Ads. Just can't seem to get the hang of all this SEO stuff - backlinks, the right keywords, etc.
Having said that though, I enjoy being able to write on any topic I choose and "formatting" my hub with pics, polls, and so on.
After being here now for a month... I am not so sure about HubPages anymore. I joined to give my creative outlet a bit of a boost but that point System is not clear and jumping up and down all the time. From a Score 98 I went down to 77 and that even after publishing an article including pics etc. So that alone is a bit frustrating... who needs points? It just demotivates me.
Aside the fact that I have not made any money which was a 2nd aspect to join as I am a stay-at-home Mum. Google rejected me and I still don't know why and nobody has purchased any of the suggestions from amazon which I selected, matching the article.
So I kinda scrapped the idea making money, write when I wanto to without any pressure and try to ignore the score - makes you feel like a pupil again, bad scores = must be a bad writer....

I'm new here and things seem QUITE shifty I should say. My total page views have been 98 for a day or two and today it is 91. Now unless the Earth began a reverse rotation on its axis near the speed of light I doubt we have gone back in time without noticing. So how in the h@!! did that happen?This...

It's hard to imagine that I've been a writer on Hub Pages for 8 wonderful years. I owe my growth as a writer to many of my Hub Page friends. Loving my Hub Page life!

I have been on Hub Pages about a year and I have written about 27 Hubs and they have received close to 5000 views, which I felt was not bad and my status hovers between 82-88. Last week I had about 8 of my Hubs featured, which again seemed ok. Now magically overnight, I have all these codes now...

Is Hub Pages Addictive?I have to admit that I often come onto Hub Pages even before I've looked at my e-mails. At one time my e-mails were always the first priority when going on line. So I reckon Hub Pages must be addictive at least sometimes!

If You Were Granted One Wish In Relation To Hub Pages, What Would You Ask For?I think for me it would be to be able to write high quality, popular hubs in short a time as possible or for some mega publisher to discover my work and like it!! One can always dream!! Have a happy New Year!
