Does anyone else find the categories on Hubpages limiting?
What is the best way to advocate for change?
Personally, I don't. I find there are a huge number of topics compared to *other* sites. Some sites ask for articles, stories, etc. on specific topics and you choose one and write your article etc. and send it to them. you wait to see whether they accept it, reject it, or want you to revise it. And some of these sites are quite limited in the number of subjects because they are a specific company. Textbroker, for example, tends to bore its writers. I tried to get on their site but they only accept American residents, so I only know from reading what other writers say.
i for one am not the one who writes according to categories..
and therefore to be asked to categorize my hubs out of the only available options is frustrating sometimes..
however my friend on a more positive note..it has helped me realize the usual categories of my writings;because I'm per forced to choose a category every time..I've actually come across my genre...
dunno about your case...but i must appreciate the question..!!

I recently read some reviews on Consumer Affairs, which were absolutely devasting and have got me a little worried. I was wondering if anyone else wrote at similar sites prior to HubPages and why they made the switch, and if they had thought about going back.

The background: In the thread ‘If You Were To Date A Hubber Who Would It Be?’ Jenny (Inspirepub) rashly volunteered to join my vessel as did Cindy (mistyhorizon2003). Even as I write this, these two fine hubbing women are relaxing in separate parts of the ship as we inch our way through...

Does anyone else have problems with Hubpages loading?Occasionally when I'm moving through the site or reading other people's hubs the pages will stall in the loading process and I will get stuck with a frozen screen. Is anybody else having this problem? Do you know what causes it?

Does anyone make any money on Hubpages?Does anyone make any money on HubPages? I have written 63 hubs. 56 have been featured, so far I have made less than $10.00.

Does anyone else dislike the new hub layout?I much prefer the old layout to the new one that is being unveiled. Does anyone else feel the same way and wish HP would keep the layout the way it is? I think it looks just fine. The new one just seems so overwhelming and, well, just weird to me.

Does anyone else out there have difficulty posting ads on Craigslist in the San Francisco area?My posts are always flagged by other users and then removed within a day--sometimes within an hour. My ads in other states never get removed. What's up with that?
