Will your author score go down if you have multiple unpublished hubs sitting around?
I have 4 unpublished hubs I'm still working on finishing and started 3 of them yesterday and my author score has dropped 5 points in 12 hours. Any idea?
Definitely yes, because when ur hub setting is unpublished people may not read or seach it, it is better to unpublished then published again
Do you classify your hubs in groups? I think that helps on the score , i just don't know how. I had a hub i was working on for about a week and the score kept rising even though i had not published it. I was wondering what was going on so i decided to do try removing it from the group i had put it and what do you know, the score remained constant for another one week, i still don't know how to explain that but my best guess is that other hubs in that group were doing well....but like i said, its a guess

This is what I have observed with my hubscore. After publishing a hub and leaving comments on other hubs, I get lots of traffic but the hubscore falls by the hour. When I stay away from HubPages for a few days, and the traffic drops to nothing, the hubscore starts to climb and reaches an all-time...

Hi, I am just wondering, I started a hub just so that I wouldn't forget the topic I was writing on, but i didnt have enough time to finish it, so I left it unpublished. Now, a day later the score of the hub has gone down! Why is this? Will it effect my author score? Should I just publish then...

If my author score gets higher, will the scores of my hubs get higher? Also, if my author score is higher at the time that I start my hub will that affect the scores of my hubs?

I'm a newbie and I just discovered the customizable home page. It's VERY cool and VERY well implemented. But one thing I miss from the standard home page is seeing my author score. On the standard home page, my profile picture has the author score superimposed on the lower right corner...

My author score is now 88. I've been active on the forums, hopping hubs, and answering questions. I haven't had this low of score since when I first started. Does removing poorly performing hubs cause author scores to go down or what is the problem?
