What do lose when writers move away from us???
It seems odd to just pick up and leave... its been seven months here for me and I try hard to write quality hubs with useful dialog... To just abandon that makes no sense to me. There was a lot of hard work that went into building my hub collection. I suppose they are movable but still it seems like just throwing away all this work and starting over.
Are you thinking about moving out of Hubpages? I think that whether Hubpages works for each of us has a lot to do with what we want from writing. I suspect most of us here won't be making lots of money, but there is a lot to be gained from being a part of a community of writers. I do think that sticking out in one place for several years is probably the best chance for people to gain an internet presence. This whole game is pretty new, so I think we just need to jump in and keep swimming!

Good job hubpages! Tell all your authors to write 3 sentence summaries about their hubs. Then use these summaries for meta descriptions in the actual webpages. Stupid. I bet hubpages has millions of pages with meta descriptions that clearly violate search engine guidelines. Bing won't even index a...
