What are the follow topic settings on Hubpages?
When I follow a topic on Hubpages (for example "Literature") , I will get content about Literature in my feed. I will also get content about subcategories in my feed (For example "American Literature"). For me that means that I am followin the subcategory "American Literature" also. However. When I am on the page of American Literature, I get the button "Follow" rather than "Unfollow".
How does this work? Perhaps there are different default norification settings for sublevel topics..?
I believe when you select a general topic, all of those will go in including sub topic. When you select sub topic, you are just selecting that topic and nothing more

Do you not follow comments in hubpages to avoid the emails?I hate having so many emails and so tend to not follow forums and other places I visit on the web. Is it worth following all the places you comment on hubpages and any negatives aside from missing someone responding to your question?
