How can I make the most of HP as a part-time writer here?
I have read what HP has to say, but I am looking for personal advice from real people.
Writing for Hub Pages is much more than publishing articled for Adsense dollars. HP is a sort of community as well as a publishing forum. To really get your work seen, shared and talked about you have to get involved in the community.
There are a lot of diverse, interesting and talented people who contribute to Hub Pages regularly. Not just Americans, Brits and Canadians. There are writers and readers from every corner of the globe representing a wide range of ideas and cultures. I have truly enjoyed getting to know just a few of these talented people, reading their work and sharing mine with them.
So, there it is in a nutshell, read other hubs, offer helpful and interesting comments and feedback and enjoy the experience. You'll be surprised how many people start to follow and comment on your Hubs if you do.
As you said, I am surprised at how many people are receptive and responsive here (such as yourself). Thank you for the honest, and helpful, words. I'm looking forward to a prosperous experience on this site.

I am also one of the HP victims of whole scale plagiarism. This is becoming very rampant. All at our expense. Is it possible that HP disables "copy&paste" feature to prevent...
