How do I get more followers who are genuinely interested in my work?
Above and beyond the standard "Write quality hubs"
Write, write and write..... Show your presence by asking and answering questions. In due course, you will get many followers.
When I hop hubs, I am selective about which hubs I comment on and which Hubbers I choose to follow. I read their profiles and look at their published hubs to see if they have similar interests. Only then do I decide if I want to follow someone. If they have similar interests, they are more likely to be genuinely interested in my work. Currently, I only follow about one out of four hubbers that I hop, and I only hop maybe one out of three that I land on.
Share your hubs on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Google+
Social networking will allow you to connect with people who would most likely like your content.
Follow others who write about things which interest you and comment on their work and you'll soon find the goodwill returned.

Hello,I am new here in HubPages. Just signed up for an account a few days ago and I barely got any followers. I would like to know some tips on how to increase my number of followers aside of course, from writing a great hub and following other hubbers.
