What was the first thing you wrote about when you joined HubPages?
What I first wrote about when I joined hubpages was: How to increase your traffic. To this day, that's my highest ranking hub! LOVE IT!
My first hub was about review of Gmail. It is well accepted by hubbers and I got satisfied with response. It also bringing some buck for me:-)
MY first........My over 40 Butt looks like.......About flat and deflated Butts....Got alot of followers for this one....ha ha!
The Native American leader Crazy Horse.
I did it terribly wrong...I had no idea what I was doing. I really just didn't understand how the capsule things worked.
The only other website I'd ever created anything on was Myspace, and the interface here was WAY different....so I seriously created the very WORST hub in the history of Hubpages.
seriously.
But I fixed it, and if you looked for my "Crazy Horse" hub - you'd see the improved version.
Not that you should do that - I'm just telling stories here...about the worst hub in the history of hubs.
My first hub was about the doggy disease Kalazar. I also remember how nervous I felt as I pressed the button to submit it for publishing!
My first hub was about the best places to eat in my city. It has been a consistent performer for me too. I don't think there are too many reviews of places to eat in Lubbock, Texas. That is why I recommend that people write about things around their towns. It is surprising how much traffic you will get from those hubs.
I wrote how to setup and develop an Adobe Flex (Flash) with the Blazeds Remoting technology in Apache Geronimo. That sounds very obscure to anybody outside the IT industry. However the Hub has enjoyed a steady readership since it was published nearly two ago.
The first thing I wrote when I joined hubpages was my bio.. I wrote it twice since
I think my very first hub was about the pros and cons of the nook color. I've been here a little over 2 months now and it remains one of my top 3 performing hubs.
Jesus Christ as the only Way to Heaven.........was my first hub. I plan to write more.......
I wrote about why there is a love for high heels.

I wrote a post about Tumblr. It went down pretty well and as a result I decided to contribute more hubs!
I discovered HubPages in mid-September 2006. I took a couple of days to explore the site and discovered a Hubber and poet named Drax who titled himself "Unofficially the Official Hub Poet". Drax had two or three Hubs describing HubPages and giving advice on how to get started. While I was studying the site I ran across an announcement somewhere on the web about the first annual OneWebDay holiday, it was to be a world-wide cyber holiday on September 22, 2006 celebrating the Web.
I did some research on the pending holiday and, on September 22, 2006 published my first Hub titled "Holidays - Celebrate the Web on September 22nd with OneWebDay". While not a big drawer of traffic, this Hub has had over 200 hits and continues to get a couple of hits a month with a slight increase in August and September when most people search for information on the holiday.
I wrote about "Life after 60". Actually, I had written an answer to a question by a hubber wanting to know whether life begins at 60 or ends at 60. When I pushed the button to submit the answer, there was an option to make a hub about the answer. I pushed that button and so my first hub came into existence.

Do you know who you signed up under, if anyone, when you first joined Hubpages?Since people can earn money by referrals, as a point of interest, is there a way to find out who we signed up under? If you know the person, have they assisted you in any way?
