Events that happen to me, or to someone I know. You can write almost anything easily.
A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Mostly, Life events inspire me to write!
Good question. I believe love, Earthly beauty, emotions, friendships, and a desire to express yourself , and to not hold feelings inside yourself are all good reasons to want to write.
What inspired me to write was love , and great self sacrifices my wife possessed. My wife Joann has done so much for our daughter that has never walked at all in her life.
God Bless You.
Nothing really, it is just something inside of me. I can't help myself LOL - It sounds corny but it is one of the ways I handle things in life - I write.
My mother inspired me to write. She was a farm girl that went to the big city and went to college - no small feat in those days. She didn't become a writer, but she was such a prolific reader, and I copy-catted her.
When I published my first article online and showed it to her, she beamed with pride.
(I got an error note that my answer, one that I thought correct, was "too short." That is appropriate, because my available money is also too short.)
That deep surge of creativity...! It's so authentic.
Next I would have to say living and experiencing.
Many times when I'm having a conversation with someone, and I explain something to answer someone's question, I think to myself.. "I should write an article about that!"
My spiritual life and everyday life usually is what inspires me.
I love all of your answers and enjoyed reading them. Our inspirations are just as diverse as we are as writers. Thank you all so much for sharing your inspirations with me.
Reading a good book, especially if it has to do with the same subject matter that you want to write about.
