I just published my latest Hub and when I went to the Home page it was buried under older Hubs. Why?
It takes a while for the ratings to go up on a new Hub. I learned through trial and error that if I leave my hub unpublished for a week or more, the score will sneak up a bit at a time. After that time is up and you are ready to publish it the ratings will be higher.
During the time the hub is not yet published I usually edit it several times; You'd be surprised how many tiny things are missed and/or the thoughts you find that that can be expressed in a more creative or picturesque way. Proofing is vital to a high quality hub. Each read will inspire you to use your words as a tool to keep your hub understandable, intriguing and interesting.
Hope that helps Perspycacious.
On the home page, it means that there were other that you are following who have shared links to already published hubs. Your hub can get buried when one person shares a lot of them, or if more than one person is sharing at the same time.

So far, every time I post a hub, I get a few views from other hubbers. What cues a hubber I've posted?
