Can I use my Amazon Affiliate code that I signed up via Hubpages on other sites?
After I wrote my first Hub I applied via Hubpages to be an Amazon Affiliate. My code has hubpages in it and I was curious as to whether I can use this on other sites or do I have to sign up for a new one.
Absolutely! I've been doing it for years.
In fact, once Hubpages switches Amazon capsules over so that they're registered to Hubpages' Amazon ID, the ONLY way we'll be able to collect the Amazon Associates money we've earned is to make sales with our ID on other websites like Wizzley and Squidoo until we reach our Associates payment threshold.
Mrshoki, I was wondering the same thing, only I'm new and have followed Hubpages recommendations not to sign up for Amazon until they've integrated it into hubpages. At the same time I'd like to be signed up for Amazon before I go all out launching marketing to my friends and elsewhere.
Greegeek, any indication how long us newbies must wait for Hubpages to switch over the Amazon capsules before we can collect on our Amazon links?
Thanks Greekgeek for the information this has helped greatly.
Thanks also LetitiaFT, I wanted to have an id for other sites so thought I may as well just sign up and it means not waiting around for the switch over.

If I want to promote Amazon items off Hubpages, like my own site/blog etc. do I need to get any kind of permission from Amazon or have them verify it first? I will obviously create a new tracking ID separate from HP, but can I basically stick it anywhere? How about on a Facebook Page or...
