Can you use YouTube videos in your hubs, or do you need to get permission from them?
Generally, it is all right to use YouTube videos in your hubs without permission as the action of uploading his video onto YouTube automatically gives you permission to use it.
However, you may still be liable to copyright infringement and other issues. Some things that you want to look out for include:
- the person uploading the video does not hold the copyright.
- there is an identifiable person or persons in the video who did not give their consent.
- there are commercial products or trademarks or excerpts from copyrighted works in the video.

I've noticed that a lot of hubs display third-party youtube videos. What's the copyright deal with youtube? I've searched the net for answers but have found conflicting reports. Most say that if the embed code is on the video, it's fair game. Is this true? I don't want to get into any trouble!

Though most people seem to think YouTube is fair game, based on my interpretation of the law, that's...
