Do you ping your hubs to the major search engines?
Is it really necessary to ping our hubs to search engines as HubPages indexes our hubs quite fast?
Is it necessary - probably not, but the faster it is pinged out the faster it will potentially be indexed, so I usually do ping mine out immediately after I publish them. It only takes a second.
All search engines have their own ping services. Do Google searches for the Google ping service, as well as for Bing and Yahoo. You then just submit your URLs there (according to the instructions). I also ping all my hubs, but was wondering if it was really necessary. Thanks ChristinS.
I dont do it but I think it is relatively easy to get your hubs indexed so this is not necessary

I can't understand why some of my best hubs appear on the first pages of the other major search engines and not Google.it's starting to feel personal.

I thought if a hubpage was listed in Google search it was featured. But apparently that is not the truth. I guess I will keep the hubs up and run my own check on them.
