What happened to the bookmark feature?
I enjoyed filing interesting hubs by bookmarking them. This feature no longer appears as an option ~ what happened?
I'm Micki, and I'm a HubPages staff member, the Head of Product.
We decided to remove the Bookmark feature because it received very little use. We are just starting a series of design updates to HubPages with the goal to make it easier to use and get your readers more engaged. In order to do that, we need to retire features that do not get used much in order focus user attention, minimize distraction, and reduce our engineering maintenance work.
There is a bit more detail on this feature going away in the blog post from Jason, our Head of Marketing, from March 20:

You can still access bookmarks that you have, and we will soon give you a way to download and save your bookmarks before we eliminate the feature entirely.
Hope this answers your question.
Some are just curious....Others just aim at achieving good score and profit.

I keep seeing Hubbers remark in their comments that they will bookmark the Hub because they like it. Am I missing something? I print out the Hubs I really want to keep. I really miss the bookmark feature.

OK, here is the deal - only those who bought the software called BookMarkingDemon can take part in this thread. Well, not exactly, of course, but it does not make any sense for those who do bookmarks manually - cause it will take a lot of time. If anyone wants to consider joining the club - here is...

Hi none of my Hubs have a bookmark feature to add to the page. I noticed that there was no Facebook or Twitter and other share buttons on any of my Hubs and others. Do you know why this is. Is it my browser or to do with HubPages. Thanks
