Tantrum, I think he's looking for an HP artist to illustrate his work. That was the point, not to drive traffic, I didn't think.
Maybe I'm naive about these things. I just went and looked at a new hubber who wanted some feedback. He did an ok job, and he posted a link to his hub in the forum.
I CAN understand why we're not supposed to do that, why we aren't suppose to post links to our own hubs in the forums. The purpose of the forums isn't to post links to our hubs, and try to drive in extra traffic.
I was not trying to drive traffic to the link, but I thought if an artist saw the forum, they could check out the story to know if it was something they wanted to do. I do apologize if I breeched the rules, even slightly. I am more than willing to edit the forum and leave the link out. The artist could find the story without it. So far, I have not found how to edit or even delete a forum, rewriting it without the link. Please let me know if there is a way. I hate to ruin my reputation here, but would be willing to have the forum deleted.
You also need to realise that you have already published this now.
Online still counts as being published.

This issue has been raised many times and many authors don't want it.=> The links have no value to the hubber.=> The forum links should not be public as the issues are essentially internal=> What possible benefits apply to the author for these links=> What benefits apply to HP that...

I doubt the links in the forum posts carry much weightage in anyway. Therefore, I suggest that all links here be no-followed.Reasons:Other than normal chit chat one of the main posts include those of content thieves. People don't break up the links so as to prevent them from forming and why should...

Okay this is great! I downloaded it this morning, and it's really working wonderfully. We all know Edweirdo, a very clever and useful hubber who created the HubDefender tool for us all which detects hub-theft and assists in dealing with it. Edweirdo has also written many helpful tutorial hubs on...

I know when we come across a hub or question (in the "answers" section) we feel violates some rule established by HP, we can click on the little flag so that HP can check it and possibly remove it. However, I can't find anything similar in the forums. I found a questionable post earlier...
