Is the hubpage "Ask a Question" really a  trusted platform to get  good answer?

That depends on who is doing the answering.  There are many people on hub pages who know a lot and are even experts in various subjects.  You can usually tell from the answers whether they know what they're talking about.  You can also double check the internet to see if they're correct!

The quality of the answer you'll get here will be totally random.  You stand as much of a chance as getting a good answer as a bad one, an unrelated comment, a silly response or even no reply.

Is this a trusted platform?  I'd have to say no, it isn't.  And I disagree with TimeTraveler2's answer that you can just recognize the quality of the answer from reading it.  That depends a lot on the person doing the interpretation, and a person with no knowledge of the subject (often the person asking) stands a good chance of not being able to tell an accurate answer from an inaccurate one.  You see this a lot  with questions about HubPages itself.  Both right and wrong information can be delivered with just as much of a helpful attitude.

As relache mentioned, it's a 'crapshoot'.  Here on HP, some answers are essentially absurd and without merit, while some can be 'trustworthy' and worth consideration.  It all depends on the 'answerer'!
