What are your concrete reasons to celebrate your Hubpages Birthday?
I do believe that It is important to celebrate one's birthday once in a while. I was told that we have to celebrate it every after 5 years at least. As I am about to celebrate my 2nd hubpages birthday, it dawned on me if it's worth celebrating the first two years, shouldn't I or shouldn't we? What are your reasons to celebrate?
I'm a little embarrassed here. I have no idea when my Hubpages birthday is, and frankly, while I enjoy coming here - it really is a small slice of my life. So I don't really see a reason to celebrate it anymore than celebrating joining a gym, or when I got my library card. Hopefully others will have some wonderful ideas on the subject.
I like to celebrate anything, anytime I get a chance, so why not a milestone? The celebration is a time to express gratitude, recognize the people to whom I am grateful, and encourage myself. HubPages is an important part of my life now, and I am looking forward to celebrating my one year anniversary in a few weeks.

Perhaps it is unfair to expect Americans to stop celebrating Columbus Day cold turkey. Let's face it, although there are exceptions to the rule, no one would expect a 4 year old child to start riding a bicycle without...
